CIAST stands for Center for Instructor & Advanced Skill Training is a skill based training institute under Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Human Resource. Previously before June 2007, CIAST was under Department of Human Power provided training for NITP (National Instructor Training Program) student from fresh SPM leaver and customized/modular courses from related industry. The establishment of CIAST was sponsored by Japan Government under ASEAN Human Resource Development Project.
