When will the PPKSPP letter reach the accredited centre after the application is sent to CIAST, Department of Skill Development for processing?<\/div>

Beginning September 1, 2018, all matters of application for the JPK’s Accreditation Personnel Certification Certificate or PPKSPP summary will be made ONLINE via the URL https:\/\/www.skkm.gov.my\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Here are some things to keep in mind for reviewing application status:<\/p>\n

i.\u00a0\u00a0 Applicants can check the status of applications that have been ‘submitted’ online through SKKM in the ‘Personnel Job Application Status’ section.\u00a0 A detailed review of the application status can also be found under ‘Application Slip’.<\/p>\n

ii.\u00a0\u00a0 Status of the application showing ‘In progress’ indicates that the application is still pending the decision of the JKT II Meeting which is held once a month.<\/p>\n

iii.\u00a0 Status of the application showing Pass, Conditional or Failure indicates that the results of the formal JKT II Meeting have been issued and the certificate can be printed directly online.<\/p>\n

iv. Personnel can also review records of applications for valid personnel who are still valid in the ‘Existing Personnel’ section.<\/p>\n

v.\u00a0\u00a0 To review the entire record of personnel certification is not complete as the data migration process is still ongoing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Do diploma and degree holders who do not have SKM but have passed the PP-PPD-PPB induction course and have a VTO certificate (I-031-3) are eligible to be appointed as Assessing Officer (PP) or Internal Verification Officer (PPD) for SKM Level 1 program , 2 and 3 at JPK Accredited Center?<\/div>

i.\u00a0 \u00a0 They are not eligible to be appointed as PP \/ PPD for SKM Level 1, 2 and 3 programs.<\/p>\n

ii.\u00a0 \u00a0For Diploma holders and have two (2) years of work experience in related fields are eligible to be appointed as PP \/ PPD SKM\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Level 4 program only<\/p>\n

iii.\u00a0 For Degree holders and have two (2) years of work experience in related fields are eligible to be appointed as PP \/ PPD SKM\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Level 4 & 5 program only.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

If the personnel serving in PB do not yet have SKM but have passed the PP-PPD-PPB induction course and have a VTO certificate (I-031-3) and are completing SKM Level 3 by PPT. Is Are the personnel eligible to be appointed as PPD or PP at JPK Accredited Center?<\/div>

i.\u00a0 \u00a0They are eligible to be appointed as PP \/ PPD for SKM Level 1, 2 and 3 programs conditionally for 2 years.<\/p>\n

ii.\u00a0 Within 2 years condition PP \/ PPD is required to complete SKM Level 3 by PPT.<\/p>\n

iii. After the expiration of the period if PP \/ PPD has not passed SKM Level 3 by PPT, then their renewal application will fail.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Can the same personnel be given a certificate letter (PPKSPP) for PP and PPD positions simultaneously?<\/div>

Yes, the certification letter (PPKSPP) of PP and PPD can be issued simultaneously to personnel who meet the conditions and criteria for appointment.<\/p>\n

However, PB must appoint only one person for one position at a time and subject to the conditions and rules of accreditation set by the Malaysian Skills Certification System.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Personnel who serve in PB SLDN full time do not have an academic certificate or SKM but have experience teaching skills for more than 5 years and have attended the SLDN Instructor Training Course, are they eligible to be appointed as SLDN Instructors?<\/div>

Personnel are not eligible to be appointed as SLDN Instructors because:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Has not attended SLDN Induction Course<\/li>\n
  2. Does not have any relevant skills qualifications.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
    Are all JPK accreditation personnel required to have a Teaching Technical Certificate, VTO (I-031-3)?<\/div>

    Not all \u00a0Accreditation Personnel are required to have a VTO. The following personnel are required to have a certificate of teaching technique VTO (I-031-3)<\/p>\n

    i.\u00a0 \u00a0PP for all programs;<\/p>\n

    ii.\u00a0 PP for VTO program (I-031-3) @ previously known as PP-PLV; and<\/p>\n

    iii. PPD for VTO program (I-031-3) @ previously known as PPD-PLV.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
