Program Persijilan Kemahiran Malaysia melalui Kaedah Akademi Dalam Industri (ADi) diperkenalkan untuk memenuhi keperluan kompetensi tenaga kerja industri dengan mengintegrasikan 20% pembelajaran teori dan 80% pengalaman kerja, selaras dengan Standard Kemahiran Pekerjaan Kebangsaan (NOSS). Program ini memberikan peluang kepada individu yang bekerja dalam industri untuk mendapatkan pengiktirafan melalui latihan dan pengalaman kerja, membantu meningkatkan kemahiran pekerja tempatan serta mengurangkan kebergantungan kepada pekerja asing. Ia juga berperanan dalam meningkatkan daya saing industri dan membuka peluang kerjaya untuk pekerja.
Pelaksanaan program ADi memerlukan peranan penting dari personel seperti Pembimbing ADi, Penyelaras Syarikat, Penyelaras Pusat Latihan, dan Pegawai Pengesah Luaran (PPL-ADi) bagi memastikan kejayaannya. Kursus Induksi Personel ADi dirangka untuk memberi kefahaman menyeluruh tentang pelaksanaan program, tanggungjawab setiap personel, dan prosedur pensijilan. Kursus ini bertujuan memastikan personel dapat memainkan peranan mereka secara efektif dalam menyokong kejayaan program ADi dan memastikan penilaian serta pensijilan dijalankan mengikut standard yang ditetapkan oleh Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK).
Di akhir kursus, peserta akan menerima sijil dalam Sistem Myspike daripada Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran yang layak untuk memenuhi syarat memperoleh Perakuan Pengiktirafan Kelayakan Sebagai Personel Pentauliahan (PPKSPP)
